Everyone pitch an app idea, but like 80% of them are just glorified to-do lists dressed up with a shiny UI. If your whole concept isn't 'this solves a problem so deeply that users will abandon their existing methods for it,' you don't deserve to be here. I'm tired of seeing ideas like 'a better photo editor' in 2024 because someone forgot to factor in the new generative AI landscape. The catch is this: if your idea relies on making something *slightly* more convenient, there is already a million perfectly good tools that are already doing it. Unless you can show me a technical moat—something that requires proprietary data or a workflow so fundamentally different that switching costs become prohibitive for users—it's just noise waiting to be buried under Apple or Google updates.
